This position is in a small to medium sized firm just outside London.
The job will focus on criminal appeals and will involve visiting clients in custody across the UK (mileage paid at 40p per mile), visiting clients in prison, taking instructions and instructing Counsel to advise if necessary (in the absence of the candidate being able to advise in person).
This as a real opportunity for someone to come in and continue to develop an already well established appeals department.
There is ample scope to undertake large amounts of advocacy in the Magistrates Court and possibly the Crown Court in this role.
