Baby barristers is a young company that was founded by barristers to address a very real problem. A rough round up of the figures available from the Bar Council shows that only about 1 in 5 of BVC (now BPTC) graduates is likely to get pupillage and actually practise at the Bar of England and Wales. The reality of the situation is that graduation from law school  for the vast majority is the beginning of a lengthy period of stress, employment uncertainty and huge debt. 

Baby barristers is the only recruitment agency that acts purely on behalf of this majority, promoting them to companies that are often unaware of their skills and qualifications.

We find junior positions for barristers whilst they continue to look for pupillage, and help them to find new and exciting careers at the Employed Bar.
